Stand by me

The Stand by Me table was designed from the need to equip a bedroom as part of a project with limited space. We were faced with the challenge of designing a piece that was simple but also functional in that it could organise the bedside table space into two clearly distinct areas: one for permanent elements that are always on the bedside table such as an alarm clock, lamp or vase, and one for temporary objects such as coins, books, letters, phones and keys. As such, the design, with a clear minimalist inspiration and an architectonic feel, presents a simple and elegant geometry comprised of three wooden panels cleverly assembled for a sublime result. The table, with its timeless lines and adaptability to a variety of uses, is made from natural oak and comes in two different finishes: matt varnish or oil.
